My family have been frequent shoppers every since our move to the Tri-Cities from Portland in 2007. Bike stores in Portland were more than just stores, they are places to hangout and tell stories, get the inside scoops on trails, and social gathering locations. Our first couple stops at your competitors in town were negative. The other stores felt cold and too much about sales and not enough about the experience. I have had all good interactions with your techs/sales crew in Kennewick and always seem to find another excuse to find my way in there to buy something.
The reason specifically I am writing today is that my son Carson is a 6 year old innermediate BMX racer here in the Tri-Cities. He has 10 first place wins in his first 12 races, two of which were regional qualifiers in Yakima and Walla Walla. We are looking for a parts sponsor for Carson. At all of the races that we have been to there are tents scattered from one end of the track to the other with various cycle shops logos. We would like to offer the same type of advertisement for Scott’s cyle as well as your logo on Carson’s gear. I have more information, photos, and video on Carson that I’d like to send your way either in person or over email as well.
I’m not even sure if you do any sponsoring of local riders at this time but when we think of getting parts we always think of Scott’s first so I thought I’d give you a try first.
