Rides and Events

Check this page often for updated listings of all types of cycling events in and around our area. Rides require, at minimum, an appropriate bike in good working order, water, and a helmet. We suggest a spare tube, energy food, maybe a little cash in case we stop, and your biggest smile! Many rides are held subject to weather. It's a good idea to confirm dates, time and any specific requirements, too. We'll see you out there — and have fun!

Ultra Mega MTB Series Ride Number Three

Harris County Park, Milton Freewater Oregon

Ride number three Sunday August 25th @ Harris Park meet @ 6:00am ready to cordinate shuttle to top of course at South end of Umatilla Rim. This route is in our opinion one of the coolest point to poit routes in Eastern Oregon and the reason we call it Ultra Mega. By any comparison there is no 65 mile strech of single track even close to this epic route. Because of the ride time and amount of day light it is important to get on the trail early. We recomend reserving a campsite and Harris County Park Saturday night so we can get shuttle coordinated and on the way to Umatilla Rim by 6:00am. Harris County Park is an excellent camp ground and a fun place to take the family so why not make a weekend out of the it. Ride number three of the Ultra Mega Ride Series is worth an extended stay. Making a day trip out of ride number three is possible but we recomend taking some time to let it soak in. Ride Stats Distance Official: 65.1 starting from Nine Mile TH 57.4 starting at end of
